Los Angeles - Rumour has it Tom Cruise's pregnant bride-to-be is demanding a pre-nup before she walks down the aisle.
Katie Holmes has reportedly asked her lawyer father to step in to help her secure a payment of millions if the marriage ends within five years.
According to US reports, Cruise, 43, is happy to sign a contract as soon as possible.
Cruise and Holmes, who was known mainly for her television roles before starring in this year's Batman Begins, first revealed they were dating just seven months ago and announced their engagement in Paris in June.
The two are reportedly planning a beach wedding at the Ritz-Carlton in Mexico at the end of November.
A source told Britain's Mirror last month that Cruise is old fashioned and wants his child to be born in wedlock.
