Los Angeles - Nas has confirmed his wife Kelis is pregnant.
The I Can rapper revealed the couple are thrilled to be expecting their first child together and will find out the baby's sex in a few days.
"Yeah, man, I find out what it's going to be this week, so I'm happy. I got another one coming in 09, yeah! That's what's up!" Nas - who has a 15-year-old daughter, Destiny, from a previous relationship - told MTV.
Rumours that Kelis, 29, was pregnant first surfaced last month.
"It's all they are talking about. She is carrying hip-hop royalty! They are so excited," a source said.
Kelis and 35-year-old Nas tied the knot in 2005 after two years together.
The Milkshake singer has previously spoken about her desire to start a family - but was worried about the effect pregnancy would have on her figure.
"I want a whole bunch of kids. But I want to enjoy my size eight body while I can. I'm actually a little scared about the idea of getting big, so I do lots of Tae Bo!" she said. - Bang Showbiz.com
