Kirk Douglas in suicide bid

Los Angeles - Kirk Douglas has revealed that he attempted suicide following his recent stroke.
He says he put the loaded gun he used in the movie Gunfight at the OK Corral in his mouth but it hit a bad tooth - which made him forget suicide.
The 86-year-old actor says suicidal impulses are natural after suffering a debilitating stroke.
"What does an actor do if he can't talk," he told Radio Times.
"He has to wait for silent pictures to return."
Douglas added he believes his son Michael and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones were treated very unfairly during their recent court case.
"I followed the court case in England," he says.
"It's so unfair. When an actor marries it's not make-believe. It's real, and they have a right to say they don't want 40 photographers around, so they make a deal. Michael and Catherine gave most of the money to charity." - Ananova.com
