Koornhoff's undying love

Cape Town - Although they no longer share the same bed, Dr Piet Koornhof is still prepared to die for his Marcelle. That is the extent of his love for her.
He emphatically denied that Marcelle Adams, 33, is having an affair with her Geman lover, Fritz Cherdron, 53, a pilot, this week.
"They are only friends. I trust her. We have had a relationship for the past eleven years and it's definitely not over. The German departs soon for Germany. If they had an affair she would move to Germany with him. She is still with me."
Marcelle, however, is confused. She loves both men. One is 20 years her senior, the other was 45 years old by the time she was born. She and the German have much in common. Like flying. Marcelle is crazy about flying and dreams of becoming a pilot some day.
Marcelle and the German were seen together in public for the second time over the weekend during the Wesbank Stellenbosch air show where Cherdron competed.
On the question of whether she's happy, she answers quickly: "Yes, I'm happy." and then as if she has second thoughts she adds: "hmmm, at least I think so."
But what about Dr Piet? "I can't talk now. I'm at someone else's home. Could I phone you later? By 16:40?"
A man's voice could be heard in the background.
