Lohan 'like a guy'

New York - Lindsay Lohan, who celebrates her 20th birthday next month, wants to snag plum acting roles, not a serious boyfriend.
"I need to focus on my career and getting my life in order," Lohan tells Harper's Bazaar in its July issue, on newsstands June 20. "My mom married young, but it was a different time."
"I've heard that guys are intimidated by me even though I'm not an intimidating person," she says. "I'm honest and straightforward, and people aren't used to that."
Lohan, who has been linked to a number of celebrities, including Wilmer Valderrama of That '70s Show, says she's not ready to quit playing the field.
"I've become like the guy in relationships," she says. "Lately I just cannot be in a monogamous relationship. But there are people I want to date."
The actress, who starred in family friendly movies such as Freaky Friday and Herbie: Fully Loaded, has recently graduated to more grown-up roles in Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion and the upcoming Chapter 27, a film about Mark David Chapman.
"I don't need to do any more kid movies," she says. "The word 'kid' makes you feel like a child. Someone I dated called me 'kid' all the time. I hated that."
She also wants to be recognized for her acting, not her reported wild-child behaviour.
"People like to think that just because I'm young and like to enjoy my life, I'm some crazy party girl," she says. "I hate the term 'party girl' - I hate it.
"I'm in this career for the longevity of it, not just for doing everything too fast and then running out of steam."
