Paltrow made a mess

London - Gwyneth Paltrow says she has only herself to blame for her split with former lover Brad Pitt.
The Hollywood star, who is now dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, said she was the "architect" of the split from Pitt five years ago.
Oscar-winning Paltrow, who divides her time between London and New York, said: "I was the architect of my own misery.
"I just made a big mess out of it."
She said she had been lucky to spend part of her life with Pitt, "especially when I was such a mess".
Paltrow was also once engaged to Ben Affleck, who is now battling through an "on again-off again" engagement with singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
Pitt went on to marry Friends star Jennifer Aniston.
Martin has recently denied persistent rumours that he and Paltrow are about to tie the knot. - Ananova.com
