Los Angeles - She may not have poured her heart and soul into her first novel, but Pamela Anderson is definitely exposing her body.
Anderson's Star features a fold-out nude photo of the author herself.
No-one is pretending that the Baywatch beauty is setting the literary world alight - she admits it took her just one month to write - but Anderson says the book is "very me".
She had a ghostwriter helping her with the finer points of grammar.
"I started writing columns for Jane and Marie Claire," she explains.
"I can sit down in the hair-and-make-up chair and a topic will come up and I'll write it out on a legal pad.
"Poor grammar and everything's bad, but I'll send it in and they'll fix it."
