Rolling Stones to rock Europe

London - The Rolling Stones announced on Thursday they will tour Europe this summer, playing gigs from Dublin to St Petersburg and headlining Britain's Isle of Wight Festival.
The 27-date tour, which begins in Belgium on June 5, is the latest leg of the band's long-running A Bigger Bang tour, which began in 2005.
The veteran rockers are scheduled to play the Isle of Wight event on June 10 - their first British festival appearance in more than 30 years.
The tour will end August 21 with a show at London's Millennium Dome, re-branded the O2 Arena.
The Stones were forced to cancel a string of European dates on their tour last year.
In April 2006, guitarist Keith Richards suffered a head injury, reportedly from falling out of a palm tree while vacationing in Fiji. Singer Mick Jagger contracted laryngitis in August.
The Stones had the top-grossing tour of 2006, amassing $138.5m in gross receipts, according to music trade magazine Pollstar.
