London - British actress Sienna Miller has been nominated for a "rising star" prize at this year's Bafta film awards, alongside compatriot Sam Riley, US actor Shia LaBeouf, Canada's Ellen Page and Tang Wei of China.
The Orange Rising Star Award will be the only one presented at the British Academy Film Awards on February 10 that is decided by the British public, and fans can vote via the website www.orange.co.uk/bafta or text message.
Miller, 26, became a tabloid favourite during her relationship with actor Jude Law and their subsequent split, and earned positive reviews for her performance as Edie Sedgwick, Andy Warhol's muse, in Factory Girl.
Riley burst on to the scene with his portrayal of Joy Division lead singer Ian Curtis in Control, while Tang starred in Ang Lee's sexually explicit World War Two spy thriller Lust, Caution, winner of the Golden Lion award in Venice in 2007.
LaBeouf appears in the latest Indiana Jones instalment and last years starred in the blockbuster hit Transformers while Page has been praised for her performance in Jason Reitman's Juno.
