Sugababe: I was afraid

London - Amelle Berrabah was "scared" to join the Sugababes because of "bullying and infighting".
The 24-year-old singer - who joined the BRIT Award-winning pop trio in 2005 - was worried about the group's reputation for having rows.
She said: "I must admit I was scared when I joined. I'd heard about the infighting and bullying that supposedly went on and I believed it."
But Amelle admits said she was wrong about bandmates Heidi Range and Keisha Buchanan.
She said: "I've never felt so guilty in my life because they turned out to be so lovely."
Heidi claims the girl group have never had internal conflict.
The 25-year-old star said: "There were never any rows in the band, not even when Mutya Buena was in the line-up. I guess because we're girls people assume we're catty."
The pop stars are "annoyed" by constant rumours of a feud, but Keisha insists they have decided to embrace their reputation, naming their new album Catfights and Spotlights.
She explained to Britain's Hello! magazine: "It's absolutely tongue-in-cheek. We thought it would be fun to play up to our reputation." - Bang Showbiz.com
