Windhoek - American actor Wesley Snipes will continue with his film schedule as planned despite a United States arrest warrant on tax fraud charges, said a producer on Monday.
Snipes, who is the lead actor in the cowboy film Gallowwalker, was on location in the desert near the town of Swakob, said Joanne Reay.
The actor was indicted last week on eight counts of tax fraud, accused of trying to cheat the government out of nearly $12m in false refund claims and not filing returns for six years.
"We are shooting and we are continuing to shoot," said Reay.
"We are aware of the issue around the tax charges, but we are not discussing it."
A US embassy official declined comment and referred all queries on possible extradition to the US justice department.
