London - Two people have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and ecstasy to the troubled British singer Amy Winehouse, police said on Thursday.
London's Metropolitan Police said John Blagrove, 34, and Cara Burton, 22, both from east London, were charged after a video obtained by The Sun newspaper this year appeared to show Winehouse, 24, smoking crack cocaine.
The video also appeared to show the Grammy Award-winning singer taking cocaine and ecstasy in her flat.
Winehouse, who has fought a public battle with alcohol problems, drug addiction and self-harm, was arrested and interviewed by police last month about the video but will face no further action.
Blagrove and Burton have been bailed to appear at a Magistrates' Court in east London on July 1.
