New York - Jude Law has been spotted dining out with Oscar winner Nicole Kidman in New York it has been reported.

According to SkyNews, the pair have enjoyed two dinner dates in the past two days, amid mounting speculation that they are more than just friends.

Law and Kidman dined together in Manhattan, where they were later joined by Oscar winning actor Adrien Brody and English patient director Anthony Minghella, reported British tabloid The Sun.

But the pair left separately, over 30 minutes apart.

"It was quite obvious to everyone in the restaurant that Jude did not want to be spotted with Nicole," an observer said.

Kidman and Law met while filming the war movie Cold Mountain.

News of their latest meeting will come as a shock to Law's wife Sadie Frost. Apparently she has battled in vain to save her six-year marriage.
