Los Angles - A lawyer for Zsa Zsa Gabor says the 91-year-old actress may have lost as much as $10m invested in the alleged Bernard Madoff pyramid scheme.
Chris Fields said on Sunday that forensics accountants looking into the missing millions believe they were invested with the accused swindler through a third-party money manager.
He says the loss was noticed about a week ago when Gabor's husband Frederic von Anhalt was checking on the couple's finances.
Madoff is estimated to have duped investors out of as much as $50bn.
Other Hollywood victims have included Kevin Bacon, a charity linked to director Steven Spielberg and his DreamWorks partner Jeffrey Katzenberg, and screenwriter Eric Roth, whose credits include The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
