Baby Spice denies rumours

London - Baby Spice Emma Bunton is still single and did not wed her long-term lover in a secret St Valentine's Day ceremony, a Spice Girls spokeswoman said on Thursday, denying press speculation about the 25-year-old singer.
"Emma hasn't got married. She was attending the wedding of a relative in London. I'm not sure who it was. Some people have obviously spotted her at this wedding and put two and two together and come up with 20," the spokeswoman said.
The Sun newspaper printed a picture of the 25-year-old Spice Girl and quoted remarks from her that led to speculation she had wed long-term boyfriend Jade Jones, 22.
"How did you find out? Who told you? It's a very private occasion so I'd rather us not pose for a picture and I don't want to say anything. You can print what you like - it'll be quite funny," she told the mass-circulation tabloid outside a hotel in Cockfosters in north London.
Emma's mother, Pauline, was seen carrying a helium-filled "Just Married" balloon as they left the hotel.
Jade, a singer, started dating Emma in 1998. The couple split the following year but got back together after six months. Last November he said the couple hoped to marry. - Sapa-DPA
