Harry Potter could die

London - Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the blockbuster Harry Potter movies, said on Thursday he believed the boy wizard might be destined to die in later episodes of the story.
"I'm going to be really unpopular for saying this about Harry, but I've always had the suspicion - with everything that's going on - that he might die," the 14-year-old Radcliffe told a press conference.
British children's author JK Rowling has yet to write the final two episodes in the seven-volume series about life at Hogwarts school of magic.
Radcliffe's theory rests on the links between the hero of the books and the evil wizard Voldemort.
"Harry and Voldemort have the same core in them, we get to see that in the fourth film," he explained.
"The only way Voldemort could die is if Harry dies as well."
Radcliffe was speaking ahead of the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkhaban, the screen adaptation of the third volume in the saga.
He was joined by Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, who play the roles of his sidekicks Ron and Hermione, as well as director Alfonso Cuaron - all of whom are currently working on a fourth instalment, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, set for release in November 2005.
There has been some speculation however that the teenaged actors may have to be replaced for later instalments because they are growing up much faster than their fictional characters.
