London - DNA tests have proved that Hollywood producer Steve Bing is the father of actress Liz Hurley's baby.
The test results were disclosed at a hearing in the Family Division of the High Court in London.
"Recently conducted tests have shown that Steve Bing is the biological father of Elizabeth Hurley's son, Damian Charles Hurley," said a spokesperson for Bing.
Lawyers for both parties were at the High Court for the result. Bing is currently in the US and declined to make any further comment.
Child support
Hurley, who has always maintained that Bing was Damian's father, now stands to receive millions of dollars in child support.
The 35-year-old Californian film producer is heir to a $400m property fortune.
Bing had previously made a public declaration that he would provide Damian with financial support and play a part in his upbringing if he was proved to be the father.
Hurley (37) has also emerged with her pride and reputation intact as the result pours scorn on Bing's claim that the couple were not in an "exclusive" relationship at the time Damian was conceived.
