Low key birthday for Kylie

Canberra - Pop diva Kylie Minogue was spending her 37th birthday on Saturday with family and friends in her hometown Melbourne where is convalescing after cancer surgery, her management company said.
The London-based singer and former soap opera star, who had surgery to remove a breast tumour on May 20, is having a low-key celebration, a Terry Blamey Management spokesperson said.
"Kylie is spending the day with family and friends in Melbourne," the spokesperson said on condition of anonymity.
Reporters and photographers stationed outside Minogue's parents house where she is staying reported that a gift was delivered to the home and well wishers also dropped off two birthday cards.
A cake in a box was also delivered while another well wisher erected a banner at the entrance to the street which read "Happy Birthday Kylie, Love Ronan."
Minogue was in Melbourne to perform her Showgirl tour when the cancer was diagnosed days before the surgery. The Australian and Asian legs of her tour have been postponed indefinitely.
