Toy Story top of the UK box

London - Buzz Lightyear and Woody stayed top of the UK box office with another multi-million pound take after their record-breaking opening last week, Screen International said.

Toy Story 3 took £8.1m over the weekend after the £21.1m it racked up on its debut as it recorded the highest opening of the year in Britain.

It kept the remake of The Karate Kid down in second place, despite it grossing £4.8m on its debut, while The A-Team could only manage third place in the box office take.

Sci-fi thriller Inception, with Leonardo DiCaprio, was down two in fourth place, just above Shrek Forever After" which slipped a spot to five.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse fell three places to sixth, while romantic comedy The Rebound, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, was down at seven from five.

Gainsbourg, a biopic of French singer Serge Gainsbourg, was new at eight while sci-fi feature Predators slipped to ninth from six.

Bollywood gangster movie Once Upon a Time in Mumbai was new at 10.
