London - The Rolling Stones will kick off a European tour in Barcelona on May 27, and will offer several hundred seats on stage with the band, the group announced on Tuesday.
The band said it has confirmed dates in Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Britain, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic, and tickets for all those concerts will go on sale on Saturday.
Details will be announced later for concerts in Russia, Greece, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro, Portugal, Denmark, Switzerland and Ireland.
Tour director Michael Cohl said several hundred seats would be built into the stadium set.
"Everyone has been saying, 'how can they enjoy themselves? They should be bored to death doing this,"' Mick Jagger said on Tuesday in an interview with Britain's GMTV.
"If we were bored to death, we would not be doing it."
