Kittens purr over 'pretty boys'

Cape Town - The three members of pop-group Atomic Kitten were purring over the Mother City's "pretty boys" when they arrived in the city on Tuesday.
The British group will perform in Ratanga Junction on Wednesday before travelling to Johannesburg for shows on Thursday and Friday.
The members of Atomic Kitten, Liz McClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost, couldn't stop talking about the "pretty boys" and "icy weather" of the Cape on Tuesday.
"We did not realise it would be so cold," Frost, 25, joked about her skimpy outfit.
"It is wonderful to be back in the Cape. We filmed the music video for It's OK here and I made a lot of friends. I cannot wait to see them again," she said.
McClarnon, 22, said she would definitely be on the lookout for a Capetonian boyfriend since there were so many "cute guys" in the Cape. "Tonight and tomorrow night we will hit the city's nightclubs. I have high hopes for what these parties could deliver. Meanwhile, I also want to go shopping."
"People like us because we are ordinary girls who do normal things. We do not live on a pedestal. Like other girls we like watching soaps on television, socialising, talking on the phone and shopping. The public relate to us and can strive to do the same things we do," Hamilton, 20, said.
"We realise that we have a responsibility to the public and that we are seen as role models, but we are only young girls that make mistakes as well. Luckily we are not controversial," Frost said.
They are currently working on their third album that will be released later this year, but said that the title of the album is still a "mystery".
Atomic Kitten's two previous albums, Right Now and Feels So Good, were both chart toppers.
