Pretoria - From being SA's most attractive hunk to the legal department of one of the country's top TV companies - Egoli's Walco International.
Soon Marcus Muller, the current Mr South Africa, will take a bow on the set of M-Net's popular soapie Egoli, as the new legal advisor.
Muller will hand over to a new Mr South Africa in February and says he already feels at home on the TV set. He has even started shooting some of the scenes.
"It is absolutely overwhelming and I still can't believe it. It is a huge privilege for me and I'm enjoying it immensely," said an excited Muller.
Muller will play the role of Liam de Lange, a rural boy from a big family, whose feet are firmly on the ground.
His role is that of a man who has integrity, is loyal, empathetic and has a sharp mind.
"He does not offend anyone even though he is aware of backstabbing."
Hopefully the new character will be some competition for Egoli's current legal heartthrob Werner Krantz (played by Stefan Ludik).
Muller admits he is a huge fan of the show and was very pleased to get the role. His profile was sent to Franz Marx Films shortly after he was crowned Mr SA. He was called for an audition and passed the test.
