Pretoria - Allegations by Nedine Blom that her ex-manager Louis van Wyk sexually molested her may be a case of sour grapes, according to the star's fellow Afrikaans singers.
Three of the four stars in the Fantastic Four have rushed to support Van Wyk.
Blom, who was managed by Van Wyk for a short spell, told Rapport newspaper at the weekend that Van Wyk groped her on two occasions last year.
She described Van Wyk, who always referred to her as "Flame", as a "psychopath"
The singers Pieter Koen, Danie Niehaus and Irene said they were stunned by her allegations and found them hard to believe
The trio, who were described as Van Wyk's "good friends", said as far as they knew the affair was being ripped out of context, and they strongly doubted that he was guilty of molesting her.
"As in any profession, some people may sometimes find it difficult to work together.
"The three of us, as part of the Fantastic Four (which was Van Wyk's brain-child), found it difficult to work with Nedine.
Because of that it became Louis's unpleasant task to fire her from the Fantastic Four, and we fear that the current smear campaign against Louis could possibly be a case of sour grapes," their statement read.
