Survivor race hotting up

Cape Town - The newest member of Survivor to be voted off the island on Sunday night, was smooth-talking lawyer Lezel Crook.
According to a M-Net press release, for three weeks in a row, the former members of Rana had an easy ride in Survivor South Africa's merged tribe, Burba. Initially Burba was able to vote off the contestants from Aguila one by one. But this week the traumatised tribe finally had to vote against one of their own.
After orchestrating Mzi's departure, many people believed that Lezel was in fact running the tribe and that the girls were the power players in Burba. But the relationship dynamics were far more complex than anyone would have guessed.
Last week Jacinda and Gareth made a pact never to write each other's names down at tribal council. At the same time Gareth said that he couldn't turn against Zayn, while Jacinda revealed that it would be difficult for her to vote for Lezel. The final rounds would clearly remain a battle of the sexes.
In a tight contest, with Jacinda leading most of the way, Gareth took the honours for the fourth week in a row at the immunity challenge.
Lezel will now secretly go to Dead Man's Island where she will meet the former members of Aguila, in whose demise she had played a part.
In next week's show viewers will see how the four outcasts from Dead Man's Island are given the opportunity to re-enter the game.
