Johannesburg - Morning Live co-presenter Leanne Manas was robbed at gunpoint in her Northcliff home last week, Johannesburg police said on Monday.
Constable Sefako Xaba said Manas was forced out of her vehicle at gunpoint when she drove onto her property at about 17:30 on Thursday.
The men, described as well dressed, with ties, had followed her in their silver Toyota Corolla.
They forced her into her home and then took her to her bedroom, where they tied her up with a necktie.
They took her cellphone, laptop computer, electrical appliances and cash and then "just left", said Xaba.
Manas untied herself and locked herself in her bathroom.
When her parents were unable to contact her on her phone, they became concerned and drove to her home, to find her in the bathroom.
No shots were fired, and, according to the police report, Manas was not physically harmed.
Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
