Tweak supports Avril

Cape Town - Local band Tweak has been confirmed to support Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne during her upcoming "Bonez Tour".
The tour kicks off on May 8 in Johannesburg, before heading to Durban on the 10th, and down to Cape Town on the 13th.
Pop punk band Tweak took the SA music scene by storm in 2000, with its hit singles Sweet Memories and Buy The World.
The band's hits Friends; Birthday Card; Sweet Memories; Buy the World and House Party have ruled the SA charts and the group has been nominated for a Channel O Music Award, been named K-TV's "Best Punk Band", The Blunt Magazine award, "Household Name" for 2002, Top band in the country by SL Magazine, My Top SA Band Barney Simon and 2002's hottest up and coming stars by YOU Magazine.
Adding to this astounding array, Tweak has also been featured on MTV Europe and Australia, and played high profile concerts and festivals in both areas.
Having supported internationally renowned bands Wheatus and The Naked Apes, Tweak was the obvious choice as support for rock & roll wild child Avril Lavigne.
Lavigne is currently on her "Bonez" World tour, following the huge success of her second album, Under My Skin. The Canadian superstar hit the music scene at 17 with her hits Complicated, and Sk8er Boi off her debut album, Let Go.
