Johannesburg - Good news for Will Young's followers is that the British pop star will tour South Africa during the Unite of the Stars gala evenings in November.
A host of stars - Christina Aguilera, Diana Ross, Westlife, Deborah Cox and Lucia Micarelli - toured the country to raise money for the under-privileged last year.
Young, who has sold more than 3.5 million albums, will make his contribution by giving seven concerts across the country this year.
The pop group Bananarama and the jazz sensation Rene Olstead will appear with Young.
His concert in Cape Town will be at the Velodrome on November 3 and at the Absa stadium in Durban on November 4.
Young will appear at the EPRU stadium in Port Elizabeth on November 5 and at Pinnacle Point near Mossel Bay on November 7.
The performance in Gauteng will be at the Coca-Cola dome in Johannesburg on November 9 and 10 and the final performance will be at the Suncoast casino in Durban on November 11.
