3 Ways to be kinder to your nails

Remember that your nails are not tools, so try being aware of what you use them for. They’re not ideal for picking your teeth, scratching off sticky labels and opening cold drink cans.

If your nails are soft, weak or break easily, keep them short until they’re stronger – you’ll have less breakage and upkeep.

Do use acetone-free nail polish remover to avoid excessive dehydration, and ensure that you apply a cream or oil to your nails and cuticles at least once a day. The massage action on the cuticles also improves circulation which in turn promotes healthy nail growth.
