The brightness of your skin is closely tied to your level of rest. You need eight hours of sleep every night to keep your skin glowing.

You also need to:

¦ Cleanse, tone and moisturise every morning and

evening.

¦ Have a balanced diet rich in essential fatty acids and drink six to eight

glasses of water.

¦ Gently exfoliate your skin at least twice a week.

¦ Clean your makeup brushes.

¦ Eat more watermelon, grapefruit, broccoli and lettuce. They are good for

your skin.

¦ Don’t use a facecloth on your face, as it can carry bacteria. Use your

hands instead.

¦ Use a separate makeup remover to tackle waterproof mascara and

long-wearing lipstick.

¦ Go for deep-cleaning facials once a month.

¦ Get a serum. It hydrates and brightens the skin, as well as banish breakouts.
