African Methodist Episcopal church honoured elderly persons with more than 100 years

The elderly who are over a 100 years old were honoured at AME Church Mokone Temple in Garankuwa Zone 4. The AME Church is under the leadership of Rev O.G Motabogi.

108 years old Ms Tryphinah Nkwadi Letsebe and Fridah Matlhakwane Modiselle who is 106 years old we will exempt from paying church dues.

According to Rev Motabogi and the cabinet of the church, the heroines deserved to be celebrated in the month of October as they contributed a lot in building the church. They used to pick up stones before the existence of the present structure of the church.

Rev Motabogi’s wife, Mother Motabogi said: “The church thanked God for giving them life until to this age and their families, who are to taking care of them.”

One of the church members from Women Missionary Society expressed her words on how much they contributed to the temporary structure of the church. The church jointly launched the division of Sons of Allen whereby members were taking an Oath.
