Murder-accused Rameez Patel has been granted bail of R250 000 for a second time, in another murder case. This was done to enable him to "parent his children".

The Limpopo businessman stands accused of killing his wife Fatima in April and was granted bail, before being nabbed again on a second murder charge after the death of Tony Adams, who was beaten to death.

Magistrate Ndivhuwo Munyai said he was satisfied that Patel had managed to prove compelling circumstances to have him released.

He is accused of assaulting and killing Adams in 2013, after Adams allegedly tried to break into the home owned by Patel’s parents.
