WHAT CAUSES OILY SKIN?

¦ This is caused by the skin secreting more sebum than usual.

¦ Your hormones, especially during your menstrual period or pregnancy.

¦ Eating junk food and not drinking enough water.

¦ Stress-Emotional and physical.

¦ Allergy to certain beauty products.

¦ The weather can also affect how your skin looks.

OILY SKIN RESCUE, HOW TO PREVENT OILY SKIN

¦ Choose skincare products that are specifically designed for oily skin.

¦ Don't wash your skin more than twice a day. This can cause the skin to produce more oil.

¦ Use skin exfoliators with little or no granules.

¦ Avoid heavy products such as creams. They will clog your pores.

¦ Wash your face using warm water, and apply an oil-free moisturiser afterwards.

¦ Avoid harsh soaps with artificial additives.

¦ Use a mattifying primer before applying foundation to decrease the amount of shine
