Easy ways to cut down on fat

• Cut any visible fat off meat.

• Remove the skin from chicken portions before cooking or eating.

• Cook with as little oil and butter as possible.

• Use yoghurt sauces or tomato sauce (see recipes) rather than mayonnaise on salad and meat burgers.

• Eat more steamed and grilled food and less fried food.

• Eat low-fat products instead of full-fat products.
