Stylish Uyanda Mbuli talks about how she takes care of her hair. She is one of a few celebrities who know how to wear hair extensions, and she always looks ravishing in them. Your hair is your crowning glory, so choose the weave that best brings out your hair’s radiance and bounce.

Nowadays, you go to hair salons for extensions, and stylists will tell you about Brazilian hair, Indian Remy and other kinds of hair techniques. Which one do you have on?

I’ve got Remy Indian hair, which is my preference. It’s easy to manage and has that silky finish to it, which I like. I once bought Brazilian hair. It was lovely and looked natural, but the maintenance was too much work for me. I work an 8-to-5 day and I’m always on the go, so I prefer hair that’s beautiful yet easy to maintain. Therefore, my first choice is Indian.

What is the difference between Indian Remy, Brazilian, and other 100percent hair extensions?

Indian Remy has a natural feel and look, and lasts longer when worn. It’s a bit more expensive, but worth it, as you can use it for at least two years. Brazilian hair is also good quality hair; very silky and smooth.

Which method did you use to put it on, and how long did it take you to do it?

Depending on the style, a full weave sometimes takes one-and-a-half hours, and full and micro bonding takes a minimum of three-and-a-half hours, sometimes longer.
