Ivee uses her gift of healing to overcome her secret pain of growing up with deaf parents

BEING born to parents who are both deaf never stopped 34-year-old Phindiwe Ivee Tshabalala-Van Heerden of Meyerton, south of Joburg, from realising her dream of owning a beauty spa. Born and raised in Kroonstad in the Free State, Ivee was schooled in her home town. “I spent most of my life there,“ she says.
