Jesse Garba Abaga (born August 10, 1984), popularly known as Jesse Jagz, is a Nigerian Hip Hop artist, rapper, singer, producer and songwriter signed to his own stable Jesse Jagz Nation.

Jesse Jagz has been described as Nigeria’s Kanye West because of his flirtatious experimentation with different genres of music from R&B to Roots Reggae to Pop, all built on a predominantly Hip Hop foundation. Jesse released his debut album, Jag of all Tradezin 2010 to critical acclaim with hit songs including “Jargo”, “Pussy Cat”, “Bend Down Low”, “Sugar Cane Baby”, “Greatest” and the then club banger “Wetin Dey”.

Another single off the album, “My Brother” was selected as part of the International Music Entrepreneur of the Year (IYMEY) 2008 compilation. He was reasonably dormant from the music scene in 2010 and 2012, but made a stunning return in 2013.

He released the singles “Murder Them” and “Redemption”to positive reviews. Jesse Jagz is also a previous winner at the2011 Channel O Music Video Awards Most Gifted Hip Hop Video category. He has also worked on collaborations with the King of Afro sounds, Femi Kuti on a song “3rd World War”.
