Mince topping

Serves 6 to 8

1 onion, chopped

15ml (1 tablespoon) oil

350g beef mince

60ml (1/4 cup) tomato paste

Salt, pepper and sugar to taste

125 to 180ml (1/2 to ¾ cup) grated cheese

Fry the onion in the oil until soft. Add the mince and fry until brown and cooked. Add the tomato paste and simmer for two to three minutes. Season to taste and spread the topping over the bread dough. Sprinkle grated cheese over and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the dough is cooked and the cheese melted.
