MORWETSANA Seminar to close off Women’s Month at Springs

By Faeza
26 August 2015

MORWETSANA is a multi – pronged programme designed to facilitate an arousal of excellence pursuit by young girls in order to challenge them towards personal development and a leadership appetite through adopting a change agent designation.

A brain child of Sipho Mnyakeni, it started out as a one day workshop piloted at the Tshwane University of Technology and it has evolved into an annual feature of their year plan.

The MORWETSANA Seminar is targeted at primarily OUT OF SCHOOL GIRLS, SOCIALLY ACTIVE GIRLS, and GIRLS AT SCHOOLS AND TERTIARY CAMPUSES aged between 15 and 25.

In an effort to inspire them and lay the foundation for success in their lives, we address the needs of at-risk girls within a positive and enriching environment that includes recreational, social, educational, and professional opportunities, mentoring, service to others, leadership training, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and decision-making skills.
