Okmalumkoolkat tours Australia

Simiso Zwane better known as Okmalumkoolkat is kick starting a tour in Autralia.

The self-proclaimed international pantsula will invade Australia from tomorrow 15 to 24 January performing in Mona Foma (Faux Mo) Hobart, The Zoo Brisbane, Ding Dong Melbourne and last but not least Sydney Festival Sydney.

The 32-year-old Umlazi born star will be sharing the stage with the likes of Black Coffee, Cid Rim and The Clonious, and promises to bring nothing but “Umswenko” to the people.

Known for his authentic kwaito infused dance moves, lyrical talent and trendsetting persona; he consistently pushes the boundaries as a performer.

He has taken an iconic role in the pop culture community, changing the perception of new age hip hop.

Looks like there’s no sleep for the wicked recently returned from his European tour which saw him reach the masses in multiple countries such as France, Switzerland and Austria.

When asked how his fans from abroad received him he said, “I love that we can all be of a different language, and be brought together by music, they might not understand my lyrics, but they get the vibe”.

The upcoming tour will begin on the 15th January 2016 in Australia for the following events:

15th Mona Foma (Faux Mo) Hobart

16th The Zoo Brisbane

21 Ding Dong Melbourne

24th Sydney Festival Sydney
