Pouyoukas polenta officially GMO free

Pouyoukas is proud to announce that its polenta is now GMO free. “Pouyoukas Foods are of the highest quality, carefully selected from around the world. As we have learned more about GMOs, we have decided that using them in our food doesn’t align with the products we supply,” says Justine Pearl, brand manager of Pouyoukas Foods.

Polenta is a dish made famous by Italians and other European cuisines. It is a yellow maize meal and is delicious, nourishing and gluten-free. Pouyoukas polenta has a creamy taste and can be boiled, fried or baked. It is a great alternative to rice, potatoes and pasta and works wonderfully as a base to which you can add toppings like sauces, cheese, vegetables and meat.
