Sausage goulash

Serves 4

Power setting: Full

15 g (1 tablespoon) margarine

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

15 ml (1 tablespoon) cake flour

3 tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped

15 ml (1 tablespoon) paprika

1 can tomato soup

125 ml (1/2 cup) milk

4 potatoes, peeled and cubed

450 g sausages, cooked and chopped

30 ml (2 tablespoons) plain yoghurt or sour cream

green pepper rings

Place the butter, onion and green pepper in a medium casserole. Cover and cook for four minutes, stirring once. Add the flour and blend well. Add the tomatoes, paprika, tomato soup, milk and potatoes. Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring twice. Add the sausages, cover and cook for a further five minutes. Stir in the yoghurt/sour cream, sprinkle with green pepper rings and serve.
