Gospel great Marvin Sapp to perform with South African gospel royalty on Freedom Day in an international gospel concert

International award-winning gospel singer and pastor Marvin Sapp will on 27 April, 2015 celebrate South Africa’s Freedom Day along with local gospel royalty the likes of Ntokozo Mbambo, Benjamin Dube, Solly Mahlangu, Sifiso Ncwane and Apostle Mokoena in the Soulful Sounds: Soul Revival Session gospel concert.

The 6-hour-long concert promises an eclectic mix of inspirational and celebratory music for gospel music lovers on this historic day.

American-born gospel artist Sapp has enjoyed a decorated music career receiving 10 Grammy nominations, 22 Stellar Awards, 2 Soul Train Music Awards, 2 BET Awards, 2 Dove Awards, and eight BMI songwriter’s awards for sales along with many other accolades and honours from national, regional, and local institutions.

Sapp will perform some of his greatest hits including Never Would Have Made It, Thirsty, and Best In Me to name but a few.

Performing alongside Sapp will be South African gospel giants who will sing crowd favourites from their various award-winning albums.
