TAKING NOTES AT A MEETING

Have a pen and paper ready when you go to the meeting. Write down the date, the names of the people attending the meeting and the topic of the meeting.

Write down the essence of what is said, point by point.

If you can’t hear clearly or don’t understand, don’t interrupt the meeting. You should rather ask the relevant person afterwards what he or she meant.

Type your notes.

Include an action list at the end of the notes with the person responsible and date when the person must have completed the task.
