magic wand they can just wave around to make their dreams come true.We want

many materialistic things at the expense of prayer.

This is not to say that if we pray to God then he won’t answer our prayers. He will because He is God. But prayer should not be about bargaining but rather about strengthening our fellowship withGod

and keeping his precepts.
