  • Always make sure the foil seal on the baking powder tins are sealed tight and has not been tampered with.
  • Look at the “best before” date when buying baking powder to make sure it is fresh and will offer the best rising power.
  • When using a Royal Baking Powder sachet or refill, place leftover unused baking powder in a Royal Baking Powder tin or another container that seals tight, to ensure lasing freshness.
  • When baking, make sure ingredients are carefully measured to prevent disappointing results.
  • To make your own self-raising flour, mix 250 ml (1 cup) cake flour with 5 ml (1 teaspoon) Royal Baking Powder.
