FEET carry all the load of our bodies, but we give them so little respect. Constant exposure to dirt and the heat from the sun can wreak havoc on your feet.

TIPS ON TAKING CARE OF YOUR FEET MOISTURISE THEM

Invest in a good foot cream with Vitamin E and coconut oil.

PROTECT THEM FROM HEAT

When you go out in the sun wearing sandals, make sure that you apply sunscreen to your feet.

GO FOR A PEDICURE

Have a foot massage once a week. This will keep your feet clean. Also trim your toe nails to avoid dirt from accumulating under them.

GIVE YOUR FEET A SCRUB

Scrub your feet, especially the heels, with a foot scrubber on a regular basis. It will help remove the dead skin and make your feet soft.

LET YOUR FEET BREATHE

Take your shoes off when you get home and let your feet breathe. Soak them in lukewarm water to ease the tiredness after a long day at work.

DRY YOUR FEET THOROUGHLY

Make sure your nails are completely dry before applying nail polish or you’ll get fungus. Over time, nail polish can wear down your nails. Before reapplying new polish, be sure to remove all the old layers.

HOME REMEDY COCONUT OIL

This is a good remedy for dry and cracked feet. Its antifungal properties also fight fungal and bacterial infections. Before you go to sleep, soak your feet in lukewarm water and scrub them with a pumice stone. Dry your feet and apply coconut oil. on them. Wear a pair of cotton socks for the night. The next morning, remove the socks and wash your feet in warm water. Do this daily until you are happy with the results. Use olive oil

if you don't have coconut oil.
