As winter fast approaches, Vuzu AMP (DStv channel 114) is turning up the small screen heat with some must-watch international series to keep the chill at bay! Here’s what you can see in June…

For the comedy lovers and the hopeless romantics check out:

  • The TV sitcom UNDATEABLE (Tuesdays at 19:00) on Vuzu AMP, which follows single thirty-something Danny Burton as he tries to find love and struggles to commit to a meaningful relationship.

  • Onward to mid-week and Vuzu AMP isn’t slowing down…tune in for the fun relationship sitcom MARRY ME (Wednesdays at 19:00). The launch episode explains how Annie and Jake met and fell in love six years ago and have been slowly but surely moving toward a big marriage proposal. Then, unexpectedly, their holiday in paradise goes completely wrong and the trip down the aisle is postponed. What are they to do? Well, they are going to keep on dating because they are convinced that they are meant to be together…and audiences can join them on the ride!

  • Staying with entertaining series, make sure you check out JANE THE VIRGIN (Wednesdays, 19:30). Each episode is charmingly named ‘chapters’ and each chapter tells a new part of Jane’s story which really gets going when the religious, hardworking Latina unexpectedly falls pregnant after a doctor mistakenly artificially inseminates her. Now, as Jane and the ‘donor’ Rafael try to come to terms to what’s happened, they must navigate a handful of challenges that is unique to their very unusual situation! Along the way they start to have feelings for one another…

PLUS for the action-lovers and thrill seekers, tune in to Vuzu AMP for:

  • Season one of SCORPION (Mondays at 20:00). The series began in May and continues throughout June with four new episodes.  In a nutshell SCORPION tells the story of a computer genius who is tasked by the American government to assemble a team of highly intelligent individuals who can help to counter the world’s most difficult high tech threats.

  • Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell take viewers into season four of the fast-paced comedy-drama HOUSE OF LIES (Mondays at 21:00). In the series, Marty Kaan and his team of dynamite management consultants play to win as they take on the corporate world, one big deal at a time!

  • Another great highlight to watch this month is season two of THE 100 (Tuesdays at 19:30). The series is set dozens of years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends 100 juvenile delinquents back to Earth in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet.

  • Lastly season one of iZOMBIE (Thursdays at 21:30). Based on the DC comic of the same name, Liv Moore is a former medical student who turns into a zombie. She soon takes a job in a coroner's office where she discovers that she can help homicide detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) solve murders with her new Zombie abilities.
