I don't know why the News24 stable have all the different online newspapers. Die Volksblad, die Burger, Beeld, even City Press.
Today, seeing as things are a bit slow, I decided to visit them all, and had to look twice to check that the new site did actually load. Apart from a couple of regional articles, and a different colour for some of them, all these online papers are the same. The articles are all the same, the layout template is the same, the photos are the same.
Wouldn't it be more economical for the News24 stable to incorporate these so-called regional papers into the main News24 site, with a selectable dropdown for some regional stories?
