34 Darwin Awards

20 June 2014, 21:15

One cannot, at first, help but feel sorry for the 34 people, mostly miners, that were shot dead by the SAPS but then one also has to laugh at the stupidity that they embarked on.

The barbaric mutilation of the 10 innocent victims prior to the actual shooting is beyond words or description but not beyond belief when it comes to the dumb.

Since when does something spiritual interfere with mechanical devices? I am speaking about the Sangoma1 casting spells to lock (jam) the weapons of the SAPS, how bloody stupid that belief turned out to be.

What really disgusts me is that their 3rd world beliefs killed 10 innocent people in the run up to this self-inflicted and self-paid for massacre.  The Sangoma was paid between R1 000 and R1 600 to work his “magic” and I bet he was nowhere near the shooting once he had been paid, probably drinking his 1st world Klipdrift2 from a 1st world crystal glass…..met eish naturally.

While there is nothing wrong in believing in the supernatural it is very wrong when innocent people are killed to fulfil this belief; in saying that I reckon that every religion on earth is guilty of exactly that, the killing of the innocent in pursuant of material goods.

Well-deserved Darwin Awards to the 34, our human gene pool is better off being chlorinated by stupidity.
