In my youth, before I was brain-washed by logic and reason, I was a Sunday school student.
I clearly remember being told that our planet had zero chance of being created by chance. In fact, if you were to place a chimpanzee in front of a typewriter, there was a greater chance of him typing the entire works of Shakespeare than of our world coming about by fluke.
Or something like that.
I believed it for a while until I slipped through the cracks and fell into the wonderful world of doubt. Now I am not so sure.
Its tough being a slave to logic, and if anyone can help free me, this is a rescue call. You can start by explaining the issue of chance. Are we really that special down here on planet earth?
Consider a bug hitting your windscreen. Astronomical odds when you trace things back, but it was always going to happen.
About the same as odds as a chimp in front of a typewriter?
